When you complete our compatibility application, we collect the information you submit, which may include:

• Personal identifiers: first name, gender, age range
• Relationship history: current status, children, prior relationship timeline
• Personal values and lifestyle preferences
• Relationship goals and compatibility preferences
• Dating and matchmaking history
• Social media handles or profile links provided for identity verification
• Any notes or written responses you choose to share

Information collected automatically

When you visit our website, we may automatically collect basic technical information including your browser type, device type, and pages visited. This is used solely for understanding how our site is used and improving the experience. We do not use tracking pixels or advertising cookies.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide for the following purposes only:

• Membership review: To evaluate your application for the Spark Twice community.
• Matchmaking: To identify and facilitate introductions with compatible members.
• Identity verification: Social media handles are used solely to confirm you are a real person. They are reviewed by our team only and are never shared with other members.
• Communication: To contact you regarding your application, introductions, or updates to our service.

We do not use your information for advertising, data brokerage, or any purpose beyond the matchmaking service you have applied for.

4. Confidentiality of Your Profile

Your profile is never visible to other members. We share only what is necessary to facilitate a specific introduction, and only with your prior knowledge and consent. We will not share your full name, contact details, or social media information with any other member without your explicit approval.

Introductions are made by our team, not by automated systems. A real person reviews every match before any introduction is made.

5. How We Store and Protect Your Information

Your application data is stored securely using Supabase, a SOC 2 Type II compliant cloud database platform. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to your information is restricted to authorised Spark Twice personnel only.

We retain your data for as long as your application is active or your membership is current. If you request deletion, your record will be permanently removed within 30 days.

6. Sharing With Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party.

We use the following service providers to operate our platform, each of whom processes data only on our behalf and under strict data processing agreements:

• Supabase - secure database storage (supabase.com)
• Stripe - payment processing (stripe.com). We do not store card numbers; all payment data is held by Stripe.
• Hostinger - website hosting (hostinger.com)

No other third parties have access to your data. We do not use advertising networks, data brokers, or marketing platforms.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of any inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your data at any time
• Withdraw your application at any time

To exercise any of these rights, contact us. We will respond within 10 business days.

8. Children's Privacy

Spark Twice is intended for adults aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of 18. If we become aware that information has been submitted by a minor, we will delete it immediately.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If changes are material, we will notify active members by email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
