Community Guidelines

A community built on
trust and respect

These are the principles that keep our members safe, our connections genuine, and our space worth protecting.

In this document

01

Be your real, honest self

Real identity

Your name, age, and photos must be accurate. We verify members carefully, and misrepresentation will end your membership.

True intentions

Join because you genuinely want a relationship. Our members are not here to be marketed to, casually chatted with, or treated as entertainment.

Honest availability

If you are not currently available for a relationship, please do not proceed. Wasting another member's time and hope is not acceptable.

One profile per person. Creating multiple accounts, or applying on behalf of another person without their knowledge, violates our policies and will result in permanent removal.

02

Treat every member with respect

Every person on this platform has taken a considered step toward finding connection. They deserve to be treated with the same care and dignity you would want extended to yourself.

No discrimination. We do not tolerate bias based on race, ethnicity, religion, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, nationality, or age. All introductions are made with genuine regard for compatibility.

Accept outcomes gracefully. If an introduction does not lead where you hoped, respond with grace. Anger, pressure, or attempts to circumvent our process are not acceptable.

No harassment of any kind. Persistent unwanted contact, intimidation, or any behaviour designed to make another member uncomfortable is grounds for immediate removal.

Respect the decision to stop. If someone indicates they are no longer interested in continuing a conversation or meeting, that decision must be respected completely and immediately.

No unsolicited explicit content. Sending explicit messages or images without clear, enthusiastic consent from the other person is a serious violation.

03

Communicate with care and honesty

Respond thoughtfully

When an introduction is made, respond within a reasonable timeframe. Silence can cause unnecessary anxiety for the other person.

No spam or solicitation

Our platform is not a place for business pitches, charity appeals, networking, or any form of commercial activity. Keep conversations focused on genuine connection.

Keep it private

Conversations between you and your introductions are private. Do not share, screenshot, or discuss another member's messages or profile without their consent.

Language matters. Vulgar, abusive, threatening, or deliberately hurtful language in any form will not be tolerated. This includes messages sent privately as well as any communications via other channels arranged through Spark Twice.

04

Protect yourself and others

Your safety is our first priority. These practices protect you during the early stages of getting to know someone new.

Take your time. Genuine connections build slowly. Be cautious of anyone who pushes for rapid emotional intimacy, asks for personal details too quickly, or makes you feel rushed.

Protect your contact details. Share your phone number, home address, and workplace details at a pace you are comfortable with. There is no obligation to share these early in a conversation.

Keep financial matters private. Never share your banking details, financial situation, or login credentials with a match, regardless of how well you feel you know them.

Trust your instincts. If something feels wrong, it probably is. You are always entitled to disengage from any interaction without explanation, and we are here if you need support.

Member information is confidential. Information you learn about other members through Spark Twice must not be shared with third parties, posted publicly, or used outside the context of the introduction.

05

Recognise and report fraud

Romance fraud is a serious issue. We work hard to vet every member, but bad actors exist. Know the warning signs.

Red flags to watch for

Requests for money or gift cards, unwillingness to video call, inconsistent personal details, unusually intense affection very early, and excuses for not meeting in person are all warning signs.

Never send money

A legitimate match will never ask you for money, no matter the reason. Any request for financial help, investment opportunities, or emergency funds is a scam. Please report it to us immediately.

Contact us immediately

If you suspect fraud or have received a suspicious request, contact us straight away. We take every report seriously and act quickly.

We will never ask for money from your matches on your behalf. If anyone contacts you claiming to be from Spark Twice and requests payment or personal financial information, please report it to us and do not comply.

06

Share content that is honest and appropriate

Recent, accurate photos only. Your profile photos should be taken within the last two years and should represent your actual appearance today, not a significantly different past version of yourself.

You must be the primary subject. Photos should clearly show your face. Group photos, heavily filtered images, or images in which you are not clearly identifiable are not appropriate as your main photo.

No explicit or inappropriate content. Nude or sexual images must never be shared through any Spark Twice channel, including private messages.

Respect others' images. Never share photos of another member without their explicit consent. This includes sharing with friends, on social media, or with third parties of any kind.

No third-party copyrighted material. Do not upload images, documents, or content that you do not own or have rights to share.

07

Take care when meeting for the first time

Meet in public first

For initial meetings, always choose a public, busy location. Restaurants, cafes, and public parks are ideal. Avoid private residences until trust has been properly established.

Tell someone

Let a trusted friend or family member know where you are going, who you are meeting, and when you expect to return. Check in with them during or after the meeting.

Arrange your own transport

For first meetings, arrange your own way there and back. This gives you full independence and the freedom to leave at any time without relying on your date.

If you ever feel unsafe during a meeting or afterwards, please contact us. Your safety matters to us, and we want to know if something has gone wrong.

08

How to raise a concern

If you encounter behaviour that concerns you, please speak up. Every report helps us protect the community. You will never be penalised for raising a genuine concern in good faith.

Contact us directly

Send us your concern. Include as much detail as you are comfortable sharing. Every message is reviewed by a real person.

Use the contact form

Use the Contact Us form on our website. If you are a member, your details will be captured automatically so we can follow up with you quickly.

In an emergency

If you are in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first. Once you are safe, please let us know what happened so we can take appropriate action.

All reports are treated confidentially. We do not disclose who made a report unless required by law. Your willingness to speak up helps protect everyone in this community.

We act without hesitation on these

These guidelines exist to protect you

Every rule on this page was written because connection matters, and it can only flourish in a space that feels safe. We are grateful that you are part of this community, and we hold ourselves to these same standards.
