California Privacy Rights

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), California residents have specific rights regarding their personal information. This page explains those rights and how to exercise them.

These rights apply to California residents who have interacted with Spark Twice, including applicants, members, and website visitors.

Right to Know

You have the right to request disclosure of the personal information we have collected about you, the categories of sources, the business purpose for collecting it, and any third parties we share it with.

Right to Delete

You have the right to request deletion of personal information we have collected from you. We will honor deletion requests within 45 days. Note that certain information may be retained for legal, safety, or contractual purposes.

When you request deletion, we will anonymise your profile data and permanently purge it after a 30-day retention window. You will receive an email 7 days before permanent deletion.

Right to Correct

You have the right to request that we correct inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.

Right to Opt Out of Sale or Sharing

Spark Twice does not sell your personal information. We do not share your data with third parties for cross-context behavioural advertising. You may still submit a "Do Not Sell or Share" request using the form below.

Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information

We collect sensitive information (such as photos and relationship preferences) only as necessary to provide our matchmaking service. You may request that we limit our use of this information to providing the core service.

Right to Non-Discrimination

We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA rights. Exercising these rights will not affect your service status.

Response Time

We will acknowledge your request within 10 business days and provide a full response within 45 calendar days. If we need more time (up to 90 days), we will notify you.
